Gaby in America!

So, these are going to be tiny little recaps, so that you can catch up with what's been going down here! So, I arrived in Tacoma on wed 19 July, after a fabulously long flight! When I arrived, I discovered that my bag was still in Joburg, as they had forgotten to load it onto the plane, but very efficiently it only took a day and a bit after I arrived to get delivered to my doorstep(plus, it meant I had to do a little shopping, oh darn)! It is SO much fun being back in the same house with my sisters here! So this is me on my arrival at the house, big smile as you can see! Krystal, my ex-roomate, Rene and Karen, a friend of mine, came to pick me up from the airport, SO much fun! Did I mention that it's been around 30 degrees most days?

The next day was Rene's birthday, so I got to spend the day with her, obviously first stop was the mall and then a birthday supper for Rene in the evening! I almost missed my bus to the mall and ended up running about 20 blocks to get to the right bus stop. I must have been quite a sight, because a guy stopped to ask me if I was alright, because I was running. Obviously people don't run in America or something! ;)
